The Full Moon Theater Foundation is in its developping process. Its purpose is:
* To promote the development of operating technology in new ways for the use of natural light in the visible fringe of the solar spectrum, and in the moon spectrum as field of experimentations.
* To promote actions dedicated to reduce light pollution in the world.
* To promote the creation of « Advising Committees » : artistic , scientific and technologic mixed committees connected through the net work in tune with the Foundation purposes.
* To promote ecological awareness for young generations through playfull and cultural process, like theater workshops for kids in open air theaters or « plain nature workshops ».
* To promote and federate the setting of a planetary network of « Full Moon Theatres », connected with the foundation through their « advising committees ».
* To promote events increasing for each site the value of its « patrimony & memory » in the diversity of its culture, its myths, its beliefs by stimulating artistic and scientific original creations in stage arts or plastic arts, dedicated to the network of
the « Full Moon Theatres ».
* To promote research and development for the use of the « visible fringe » of natural light with its optical specificity :
- In the « image » industry and stage arts fields
- In the fields of Architecture and Town Planning for underground areas without direct access to natural light.
* To promote research on mixed equipment using the light energy of the sun and of the moon.
* To promote the development of ecological protected areas allowing correct astronomical conditions of sky observation.
* To promote the development of buffer zones embedded in intensive agricultural areas, industrial areas and peri-urban areas.
* To promote research on autonomous urban beacon solarlight systems as a safety network in overload electric energy risky zones.
* To promote research and buildings of new moonlight collectors to be uses in the Full Moon Theater network.
